Background and Membership

Japan Petrochemical Industry Association: JPCA, aims to contribute to the steady growth of petrochemical industry and thereby the sound development of Japanese national economy, through the mutual friendship, communication and cooperation among member companies.


In order to achieve this objective, JPCA carries out extensive activities such as;
  • compiling statistics, conducting research and studies and information diffusion
  • dissemination of information about petrochemical industry
  • expressing and offering opinions on petrochemical industry
  • communication with related organization
    • Founded on 19th June, 1958 and operated by 26 leading petrochemical manufacturers.
